My life and real estate have revolved around each other since I moved to Chandler, Arizona, in the late 80s. Then, my friends and family questioned my folly of moving out to the “boonies.” Fresh out of real estate school and looking for a place to “hang my license,” as we say in real estate parlance, I saw nothing but a town full of opportunities on its way to becoming the fastest growing city in the USA. After some 700-plus transactions, the relationship has been for the most part a true love affair. I am still fascinated by all of the intricacies and subtleties that are part of the real estate business. There is no better feeling than seeing my clients’ joy when it all comes together at the end.
I haven’t seen it or heard it all, but it has been enough fodder to blog for years to come. It is my intention to share my footnotes in this most interesting business as I still have plenty of curiosity left in me to be a spirited observer.
